Een aromatische wervelwind van zout en kruiden, met tonen van zoete specerijen en omhullende citrusachtige terugkerende smaken. Op de tong is het recht door zee en eerlijk, in een stabiele balans tussen frisheid en zachtheid.
The “Derthona” is the entry label of the magical universe interpreted by the brave and revolutionary spirit that goes by the name of Daniele Ricci. A winemaker of heart and passion who has taken over the vineyards of his grandparents Carlo and Clementina, with the noble goal of saving them from intensive agronomic drift and leaving them as a legacy to his son Matteo in their purest and regenerated form.
Daniele Ricci’s “Derthona” is much more than a simple white wine (in fact, do not dare to call it that in front of its creator!). Although it is the youngest and “simplest” of the family, it is not at all shy and introverted and already presents itself in a golden, luminous, and brilliant guise, the result of a 3-day maceration on the skins. Only a sensitive, gentle approach, on tiptoe, like that of Daniele, can originate wines so full of life, verve, and creativity.
