Favorieten van CallmewineDe Valtellina Superiore "Pietrisco" is een intense rode wijn met een mooie structuur, gerijpt gedurende 12 maanden in eikenhouten vaten. In de neus is hij aangenaam, fris, met gipsachtige en minerale tonen. Op de tong is hij compact, intens, levendig, elegant, vol sapiditeit en goed gebalanceerd.
The Pietrisco of Boffalora combines the unparalleled finesse and structure of Nebbiolo with a clear and focused interpretation. One of the most convincing expressions from Valtellina, achieved also thanks to a non-intrusive approach that respects the vineyard and nature. The winery of Giuseppe Guglielmo is located in Andevenno, Sondrio, where in the three and a half hectares of vineyard, situated at about 350-700 meters above sea level, there are also century-old vines, some on their own roots. Extreme biodiversity and minimal vineyard treatments are just some of the principles adopted in the vineyard, which precede the conscientious work in the winery, where fermentations occur spontaneously and at uncontrolled temperatures. A great representation of Valtellina, to be enjoyed continuously given its particularly advantageous quality-price ratio!
